Welcome to Beyond Impact 2025, the only 501(c)(4) strategy and learning space. Beyond Impact exists to serve and strengthen the advocacy infrastructure of movement leaders passionate about igniting a revolutionary shift in the political landscape of the United States. Our mission goes beyond envisioning change; we are committed to aligning organizational practices, visions, and resources to create sustainable platforms for Black, Brown, and allies' political organizing.
This year, Beyond Impact will take place from Wednesday, September 17-Friday, September 19, 2025, in Baltimore, MD.
For generations, Black and Brown communities and allies have demonstrated unwavering resilience, holding the line and building power despite the challenges posed by political leadership at all levels. By Any Means Necessary: People, Power, and Possibilities is a space where movement leaders, organizers, and funders can come together to strengthen community bonds, strategize, and develop tangible steps for the fight ahead.
We are curating a convening that centers frontline wisdom, prioritizes real-time problem solving, and deepens the relationships that sustain movements –ensuring that our collective power is preserved and expanded. In a political moment that demands both resistance and innovation, we are gathering to ask: What has worked? What must evolve? And how do we continue to show up for our communities –by any means necessary?
What to Expect
Over two days in Baltimore, MD, Beyond Impact 2025 will offer plenaries, breakout sessions, strategy-building spaces, and wellness experiences that ground us in the work ahead. Attendees will have access to:

Scholarship Opportunities
Application Submission Deadline: The deadline for submitting Travel Scholarship applications is Friday, July 25, 2025. Please ensure your application is complete, as incomplete applications may not be considered.
Review and Notification: The Scholarship Committee will review all applications and select recipients based on the eligibility criteria. Selection notifications will be sent out on an ongoing basis, and all final notifications will be communicated by Tuesday, August 19, 2025.

Travel Scholarship Application Process: Open to Everyone!
At Beyond Impact, we value inclusivity and aim to deepen our community of movement leaders, changemakers, and those interested in attending. To achieve this, we have created a scholarship program. Our goal is to offer financial assistance to selected recipients to help cover expenses related to the convening (i.e., registration fees, travel, and hotel lodging).
Please note that the availability of travel scholarships is limited, and we strongly advise applicants to apply as soon as possible. We will do our best to provide as much financial assistance as possible to those who qualify.
Criteria for Travel Scholarship Eligibility:

Financial Need: Priority will be given to applicants who demonstrate financial need and may face difficulties in covering the costs of attending the conference. This applies to organizations with an annual organizational budget of less than $500k. We strongly encourage individuals from underrepresented and marginalized communities to apply.

Commitment to Racial Justice: Applicants should demonstrate commitment to racial justice and building a pro-Black future. We encourage those whose work, activism, or organizational values closely align with the conference's focus areas to apply.

Relevance to Conference Focus Areas: Applicants should highlight how their participation in the conference will contribute to the dialogue and goals of "C4 Power: Building a Pro-Black Future." We encourage applicants to provide specific examples of how the conference will support their ongoing work or initiatives.

Geographic Representation: We aim to have diverse representation and viewpoints from individuals in various geographic regions. Preference may be given to candidates from areas where electoral or policy decisions significantly impact the well-being of BIPOC communities.

Commitment to Conference Participation: Applicants must be willing to commit to attending and participating in the full range of Beyond Impact sessions.

Access Travel Application Form: To apply for the scholarship, head to the conference website, where you'll find the application form. Be sure to fill out all the necessary information before submitting.
